Thankfully my parents thought it might be fun for my sister and I to try something new!  At the age of 3 we began taking classes and 15 years later I completed my competitive gymnastics career as a level 9 gymnast.  When in the gym I always had fun; whether it was mastering a trick, making up a new one or walking the high bar as if it were a tightrope!  I still find myself smiling and giggling just as much during adult gymnastics classes.

    Its been many years since my competitive gymnastic days but that love of playful exercise has never gone away.  After graduating from UNH with a family studies major and a young child concentration, I ventured out west to become a professional ski instructor, teaching 3 to 6 year olds in Vail, Colorado.

 

    After a tough day of work on the mountain (playing with kids!),  I met my husband Dave - an avid skateboarder and snowboarder from California.   It's been 20+ years since then and we are now raising three amazingly unique kids in beautiful Exeter, New Hampshire.  

 

    We not only want our children, but all children to enjoy the same love of playful exercise we both have, which ultimately led us to embark on this new adventure as the owners of flippityflop.
